*油麻地命名自船隻的銅油和麻纜；尖沙咀是因其沙咀地形而得名；旺角則因其盛產芒草，並取「芒」的諧音「旺」為名。

 

About Community Tour

In a typical tour, you will see shopping malls, pharmacies and gold shops; in our Community tours, you will see copper oil, hemp ropes and miscanthus*. Tour guides will tell you about exchange rates and shopping tips; while our storytellers will detail their personal experiences, habits and wisdom of life. Social tours will alter your views on traveling and community - bringing you into common roads with different eyes.

 

*Yau Ma Tei was named after copper oil (‘Yau’ in Cantonese) and hemp ropes (‘Ma’ in Cantonese); Mong Kok was named after miscanthus as its name in Cantonese is ‘Mong Cho’
